Purpose of the Job

Prepare and analyze reporting of corporate management information, external information to shareholders/banks/analysts, reporting and evaluation of budgets/forecasts and ad hoc information related to finance activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Monthly management reporting and KPI analysis. Preparing and providing guidelines and instructions to the local operating entities in connection with the financial reporting ensuring that these matters are properly followed up on as part of the month end closing.
  • Perform analytical review on consolidated level to gain a high-level understanding of the consolidated figures.
  • Consolidate all entities and produce an IFRS compliant quarterly and annual report.
  • Manage the consolidation process in the corporate financial reporting system (Hyperion).
  • Follow new regulatory developments on IFRS and translate these developments into group accounting policies. Provide support and advice on complex accounting issues including but not limited to M&A transactions.
  • Perform analytical review on consolidated level to gain a high-level understanding of the consolidated figures.
  • Manage and develop people, drive functional excellence and be a leader.

As a business partner, you will co-operate with senior stakeholders (up to the CFO) inside and outside the Finance department.


The position demands individuals with analytical and leadership skills as well as assertive behavior, who can assemble the right team and promote effective performance through good management, communication and motivation.

To be successful the following qualifications are needed:

  • Academic background in finance or accounting with relevant professional qualification (Registered Accountant, CPA or equivalent).
  • 7+ years of experience. Experiences from a Big Four auditing company is preferred;
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS
  • High integrity and ethical standards
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Flexible team player with excellent inter cultural communication skills, having the ability to work under pressure
  • Self-starter
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and any other languages would be an asset
